LIFE AND LAUGHING - Michael McIntyre

Michael McIntyre's mother was once told in a tarot card reading in a small magic shop that her son would be known worldwide and would be extremely successful and achieve fame. Amazing that tarot card reader was correct. Michael McIntyre is one of England's biggest comedians. He has kids in fits of giggle while also making the adults laugh their heads off. He has 2 films, his own TV show, has completed one tour and is now going for another one and even managed to fit in time to write a book.

His book is what I am here to talk to you about. I think I got it as a Christmas present and even though I have always and will always love Mr.McIntyre i never read it until recently. I have never like auto-biography's but this is just as or maybe even more funnier than his videos. I brought it everywhere with me, the Tennis courts, on the train, on holiday in front of the pool and when i read a particularly funny part everyone on the courts, trains or any kids playing in the pools would turn and stare at me, wondering what was so funny about this book.

As any autobiography would it is a story about Michael McIntyre's life, you follow him through his ages from when he was a baby and could only say 'ma, da and shums' to going through having 2 dads at his parent sports day, to going through puberty with little help, to trying to talk to the opposite sex, which he describes them as aliens. Then through his adult life, his marriage and the birth of his children. It is an amazing buy and anyone who loves his DVD's or TV shows will love this book. This is the quote on the inside of the front page and it makes me laugh every time.
'A midwife asked my Mother if my father was Chinese or Japanese. My grandmother though my parents took home the wrong baby. Questions were asked about my mother's fidelity. My father beat up our local dry cleaner, Mr Wu.'

This book is very comedic it is also about a young boys life, growing up in two homes with two family's and losing his father at the age of 19. This book will have you laughing out loud where ever you take it and you wont be able to stop until you have finished the book. It is £7.99 in most stores and available as an e-Book.
